At Shopify Unite, our partners and developers come together to celebrate shared accomplishments, forge new connections, and ignite the future of commerce technology. If you are a Shopify Partner; if you build on Shopify, build for Shopify merchants, or if you are a developer working for a Shopify merchant, this is the conference for you.
What type of skill sets should be attending the conference?
Shopify Unite provides value to many skill sets including web designer, front end developer, back end developer, marketer, business development, and more.
What kind of programming can I expect at the conference?
Two full days of Shopify product announcements, deep-dive breakout sessions, technical workshops, in-depth talks from industry leaders, 1:1 office hours with API support and product experts, Shopify Partner panel discussions, and more.
Do you offer programming in different languages?
At this time, Shopify Unite is an English-speaking event and while we encourage partners from all around the world to attend, please understand that all of our talks, communications and event materials will be in English.

Is there a wait list?

You can join our wait list for a chance to purchase tickets if they become available as well as get updates on how to tune in to our livestream.
I can no longer attend Shopify Unite. Will you issue a refund?
Unfortunately, we do not issue ticket refunds or exchanges for Shopify Unite.
Can I transfer a ticket to someone else?
If a member of your team can no longer attend Unite, you can reassign their ticket within your organization. You will need to assign and register all of your purchased tickets to your team members by April 6.
What does the unregistered, unassigned, and registered status mean for my ticket(s)?
After you purchase your Shopify Unite ticket(s), you will need to assign them to yourself and/or the individuals on your team who plan to attend to complete registration.
An unassigned ticket means the purchased ticket needs to be assigned to a member of your organization through your partner account. This also means assigning any ticket you purchased for yourself to yourself.
Once the ticket is assigned, the assignee will receive an email with instructions on how to complete registration.
You can update any registration information or reassign tickets through the ticket portal until April 6.
Tell me more about the Shopify Unite Fund — am I eligible to apply?
You can read more about the Shopify Unite Fund opportunity on our website — we encourage you to apply if you identify as underrepresented in tech. We are accepting applications starting January 20 until January 31 and recipients will be announced in mid February.
Getting to Toronto for Shopify Unite
When should I plan to arrive in Toronto for the conference?
Full conference programming will occur on May 7th and 8th, but we encourage you to take advantage of additional programming for our Partner Day on May 6th.
I will need a visa in order to travel to Canada for the conference. Can Shopify help with this?
Shopify can help conference ticket holders with a letter of invitation to the event to use for your visa application. Once you purchase a ticket to Shopify Unite, you will be sent instructions on how to request your invitation letter and some best practices we recommend when applying for your travel visa.
